This particular stand was developed by Peter van de Water especially for us. In this stand one can both lie down and sit. Sit with the back to the upright. You can’t do that with any hammock stand, but you can with this one, because when sitting, the center of gravity is still in front of the transverse pedestal. Therefore, this stand cannot flip over, while other stands then tip over backwards including the passenger. Very easy to assemble and disassemble. Hammock can be hung at different heights and the distance between hooks can also be adjusted. The stand is made of powder coated metal and stainless steel parts and the beams are made of Padoek, a type of wood Hardness Class 1, which does not deform and is very resistant to moisture. That is why we give a 5 year guarantee on this stand, but it will last much longer with good care. Varnish the wood every year to prevent discolouration. Easy to store. Only delivered in the Netherlands.
